for my first shunniversary i reached out to the local ex-dubs that i know.
i invited 11 total to join me in a little get together at a local restaurant, then back to my house to hang out.
one friend asked if he could invite others, and i encouraged him, and all, to do so.
from my experience--apart from the cult--i have very little in common with most ex dubs. i have met quite a number at get togethers over the years.
how many people really want to share past experiences in the cult ? most want to forget about it and move ahead with their lives.
one hundred years have passed and the society still supports this lie, which of course, is the basis of their other lies, like that of the unfaithful and not discreet slave appointed in 1919. however, i wonder, what will happen after 50 years, when the overlapped generation will pass?.
and if you want, what will happen with this religion in 2100?, could it survive with the same lie??

my son turns 9 on monday however we are having his 2nd birthday party today.

within minutes i realised that i had a perfect view of a jw cart and the two ridiculously dressed jw's (they have absolutely no individuality at all.
what's more, they all look like they're going to a funeral).
how many of us have observed dub-ladies--out in two's--on the door knocking work.
walking very slowly while chatting away ---if they find no-one at home--they stand at the door for ages.

i got in an hour metal detecting this evening and found this almost immediately.. it is a silver penny of henry ii minted in london by "davi" between 1180 and 1189. this adds a king i didn't have in my collection.
i now have the series of henry ii - john - henry iii - edward i - edward ii - edward iii.. i now need richard the lionheart to fill in the gap.
he was the brother of john and reigned after the death of henry ii.
nice try mate--but i can tell its just a well worn 50p coin.
